This is probably one of the hardest waters you are likely to fish and you need to take care choosing your peg. Take time and watch for fish topping or rolling and set up there.

Heapey Reservoirs  

Number 6 is somewhat separate from the other Heapey Reservoirs. Fishing is only possible from the dam wall and a couple of pegs along the north bank, to which access is down a very steep slope. The greatest care should be taken in approaching these pegs. Parking can be a problem during public holidays as the area is very popular with walkers. Heapey Lodges are Members Only.
